What's your most memorable moment associated with SF59? Let's get some good stories going!

I know I can name quite a few moments in my life where SF59's music impacted me or played in the background during. Really interested to hear others!

Summer of '97 - Americana had just come out and it was blowing my mind. Once again SF59 had reinvented themselves.
I had a shitty punk/thrash band (Threshold) and we were opening for several touring bands here in Austin. We got a call one day and our booking agent asked if we wanted to open up for Starflyer... I died. YES! They were my favorite band and I was flipping out.

I don't remember much about the show... but we got to hang out backstage and chatted it up w/ Wayne and Jason. Eric Campuzano had quit the band, so it was Jeff Cloud's first tour. Possibly his first show (?) !
They were super nice, and every time SF59 came to town I'd catch up w/ Jason/Wayne/Cloud and eventually Lenz/Swift.
Oddly enough I keep in touch w/ Campuzano the most lol. But that has more to do w/ another band of mine and quitting when I got signed to Northern Records lol

Saw them in their 2nd concert as SF 59, I think in the summer of 1994, during the first T & N festival tour at The Warehouse in B'ville, OK.  On the first day of the festival, I won Silver on cassette.  I popped it in and listened to it 7 or 8 times over the next 24 hours.  I went the next day and saw SF play.  Not a lot of people there, but I was in the front next to the stage totally mesmerized.    Such an amazing show.  Jason seemed shocked that people were actually there watching them.  If I remember right, a lot of the people watching were from the other bands.  They knew that SF was something special.  Winning that cassette got me hooked.  Every album has seemed to mirror my own experiences and life.

Driving in the cold winter at night, snow everywhere, going to a friend's apartment. Listening to Gold on cassette in my old black truck...crossing a two lane highway...white, blue and darkness...
